haleARTS S P A C E is pleased to present local photographer Alan Kupchick’s “This Way And That Way.” This show will be the artist’s fourth solo show with the gallery and will debut a series of never before exhibited works. An opening reception will be held Friday, April 29th, from 5-8 PM. The show will be available for purchase through May 11th, 2016.

Alan Kupchick is a prolific photographer whose work has been shown in curated group shows, solo shows and museum shows throughout California. Alan is the recipient of several of the Lucie Foundation’s International Photography Awards including a finalist as “Discovery of Year” and part of the Farmani Gallery’s Lucie Best of Show exhibit.

“I take pictures with no preconceived intent. But somehow they all seem to end up looking like well structured, orderly, somewhat lighthearted, and pleasant portrayals, not at all the way things really are. I think it’s better that way. This series of photographs and all my photographs are presented totally as seen and captured, with no digital manipulation or photo assemblage.” – Alan Kupchick
