FATHOM is pleased to present the photography of Hugh Kretschmer in a new show titled, ‘It’s Cleverly Absured!’ An Artist Reception will be held Saturday, October 10th at 7 PM. The works will be on view and available for purchase through November 14, 2015.
The exhibit presents an eclectic mix of fine art, editorial, and commercial projects, each showcasing Hugh’s approach to illuminating the human condition with a bright light of surreal irony.
Included in the exhibition is a collection of Hugh’s concept sketches and a small sampling of props from some of his shoots. All of the images are composed in camera, combining old school technical mastery with an imaginative, dreamlike sense of story.
