haleARTS S P A C E is pleased to present their annual Pop Art Pop Up featuring the work of Tamara Martin and Emily Bright, better known as Idiot Box Art. An opening reception will be held Friday, June 10th, from 5-8 PM. The show will be available for purchase through June 22nd, 2016.
Idiot Box Art
Idiot Box Art, is an artist duo local to West Hollywood, Los Angeles; made up of Emily Bright and Tamara Martin. They specialize in bringing vintage comics and images back to life with the use of acrylic, spray paint, resin and a dash of glitter. Emily, brings a background in makeup, design and vintage fashion, while Tamara brings knowledge of comics, street art and graffiti. Inspired by the likes of Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol, they strive to bring a fresh perspective to the world of Pop Art.
