haleARTS S P A C E is pleased to present New Works by Michael Hale. An opening reception will be held Friday, September 4th, from 5-8 PM. The show will be available for purchase through September 16th, 2015.
Michael Hale, an LA native, is an award winning interior designer, artist, and founder of haleARTS SPACE. Now in it’s fourth year, haleARTS has provided a platform for local emerging artists to exhibit and sell their work to emerging and established collectors throughout Southern California. Through haleARTS Michael seeks to create a community, rather than a commodity of artists.
Michael’s latest body of work incorporates a variety of precise materials including neon and transparent materials. Through this pairing, Michael tames the electric neon creating a soft ethereal glow. The subtly of light and careful arrangement of letters infuses the work with irony and humor creating verbal and visual puns, as well as poignant messages.
haleARTS S P A C E is a local Santa Monica ART gallery and BOOK shop providing a platform for local artists to share and sell their work. haleARTS hosts a new exhibit / sale every 2 weeks engaging both emerging and established collectors and providing designer services.
