The G2 Gallery will be featuring 3 outstanding exhibits including: “Nature LA” Mandalac Gardens” by Robert Glenn Ketchum and Michael Jones, “Diversity of California Wetlands” by Brenton Spies, and landscape photographs by Andrei Duman. An opening reception will be held Saturday, August 15th from 6:30 – 9 PM. The works will be on view through September 27, 2015.

Nature LA: Mandalac Gardens features revolutionary new work from Robert Glenn Ketchum and Michael Jones, twisting Ketchum’s previously taken images into massive, meditative mandalas. Ketchum was named by American Photo to be one of only five “American Masters” of photography and has been making internationally-renowned, cutting-edge imagery for 45 years.

Diversity of California Wetlands is an action-focused exhibit from photographer and marine biologist Brenton Spies. Spies took his 8-week photographic journey to California’s coastal wetlands to study the vast biodiversity and the critical fragility of these all-important ecosystems.

The Andrei Duman exhibit from the artist of the same name features high-contrast photographs from around the world. Duman is known for his aerial landscapes, was previously displaying his work in the gallery’s mercantile before earning his first full, solo show at G2.

The G2 Gallery, founded in 2008, is an award-winning nature and wildlife photography gallery that facilitates change by bringing attention to environmental issues through the persuasive power of photographic art. Supporting art and the environment by showcasing the world’s most celebrated nature and wildlife photographers, and donating the proceeds to environmental charities is G2’s mission.

G2 presents an illuminating range of exhibits along with informative lecture presentations, film screenings and special events, held in partnership with local conservation and educational organizations. The gift shop features fun, eco-friendly items in its trendy Abbot Kinney Boulevard location.
